Cedar Valley Scholarship Program
The Cedar Valley Section of the Society of Women Engineers provides financial assistance to Iowa women admitted to accredited baccalaureate programs, in preparation for careers in the STEM fields of study.

High School Scholarship: $500 – $1000**
APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY – Deadline May 15th, 2023
- Must be a Cedar Valley resident
- Home address inside the IA zip codes of the following counties: Black Hawk, Buchanan, Bremer, Butler, Chickasaw, and Grundy.
- Must be a female* in their senior year of high school and enrolling at a university or college for the Fall Term of 2023.
- Must pursue a full-time degree in the field of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) at a university or college with an ABET accredited program.
- Must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0
*The gender of the applicant is defined as the gender with which the applicant identifies.
**The scholarship award is determined annually and is generally $500 – $1000
